A program fee is collected to provide interns and volunteers living accommodations and fund IPHD programs. IPHD does not make a profit from the program fee.

Internship program fee is as follows:

First month: $ 850 USD

Each following month: $ 800 USD

*If the intern will be staying for more than four months, then the fee will be reduced to $ 700 for the first month and $900 for subsequent months.

Professional Volunteer program fee

Monthly cost: $ 700 USD

The program fee covers:

  • Pick up and drop off at Jodhpur Airport
  • Accommodation with a local host family, which includes three vegetarian meals a day and filtered water in a middle-class home
  • Orientation, training and culture workshops
  • Basic Hindi language classes
  • Funding for project design and implementation
  • Mobile phone or local SIM card
  • Assistance with Indian visa application
  • Private car travel to and from the village
  • Office with high-speed internet in Jodhpur
  • 24/7 assistance from IPHD staff, including access to a private doctor
